I was "cleaning out" my camera and came across this pic from Katie's birthday celebration. Everyone in this picture is a nurse or pilot from Minnesota. (Too bad Jed was missing!) We talked about each others' high school sports teams and found we had a few acquaintances in common.

Again, last weekend we came across some more Minnesotans, this time a group of Navy Seabees (Naval construction and engineering folks... an esteemed crowd but also affectionately considered a bit geeky) also here on temporary duty. The Minnesota link was discovered when Katie was yelling across the bar, "Hey Twins cap guy... where are you from?!" There are also a lot of us at the hospital... nurses, doctors and several corpsmen. Ahhh, feels like home, eh?
