I opened Annetta's blog today and my first thought was, "How did a picture of Jed get on her blog?"
Barnabas was modeling his new glasses. I tried finding a pic of Jed with kinda the same profile thing going on - when they both shave their head and grow their beards the resemblence is uncanny! (Same nose, cheeks, mouth, chin, and beard color)

We're still here. (Kinda).
Jed is still in Yuma, Arizona on temporary duty. Before he comes home in November he'll meet up with some friends in Vegas!
Meanwhile I'm making do trying to keep up with my 2 graduate courses (I should have signed up for one) and then learning labor and delivery. I've felt fine going to a new area. Many people new to L&D have reported high levels of stress and anxiety. I really haven't experienced that (it helps knowing the hospital) until today when I had a mini-meltdown. I was messing up some basic stuff. I guess I was more stressed than I was acknowledging. That and I am NOT used to being the one who doesn't know stuff! *I'm* the go-to-gal! I have to get used to being a novice again (and I didn't like it the first time around!). I do really like the labor deck though. Mom asked if the babies were cute when they're so new... they are not photogenic but they are way-cute in person! Different people's aproach to the whole labor and delivery process is very interesting and *varied*!
For the last 4-5 weeks - even on my days off - my routine has been 1) work 2)study 3) sleep. No nothin else. I finally realized again how exercise and eating right will exponentially improve all of the above. (Thus the spin class I just finished) I'm also in the middle of wrapping up planning and execution of a critical care conference to take place in 2 weeks. I really like everything I'm doing right now - I just wish I had more TIME for it all! I suppose it's a good thing Jed is gone anyway for most of the rest of the semester! After the new year only ONE class and more time with the Jedidiah. :-)
